Date & Ginger Loaf

Baking Time: 1 hour | Temperature: 180°C

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dates
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 large tbsp butter
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 large tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 1 ½ cups SR flour

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients in a bowl and pour boiling water.
  2. Stir until butter melts.
  3. Sift in 1 ½ cups SR flour.
  4. Bake for 1 hour at 180°C.
