Date & Ginger Loaf
Ingredients
- 1 cup dates
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 large tbsp butter
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 large tsp ginger
- 1 tsp soda
- 1 ½ cups SR flour
Instructions
- Put all ingredients in a bowl and pour boiling water.
- Stir until butter melts.
- Sift in 1 ½ cups SR flour.
- Bake for 1 hour at 180°C.
